Sometimes, when our minds are bombarded with the daily dismal world news, our hope for the future fades a bit. Then I listen to my children at family gatherings, solving problems from a fresh perspective , or I hear Christal Frost Anderson interview several 7th and 8th grade young ladies, raising money for Flint and I smile.
Yesterday I was reminded again, being honored to meet Cindy A. Gamrat and her children, Joey, Meghan, and Paige at Horizon Books in Traverse City. We talked about writing and their plans for the future. My heart was filled with hope.
Aristotle said it best,”We are what we do.” I think we are going to do just fine.
Be Kind…….with love…rah
